Arm Lift
Slimmer, more toned arms — free from excess skin and sagging
Schedule a ConsultationOverview
Reshape and Tighten the Upper Arms
An arm lift, or brachioplasty, removes excess skin and fat from the upper arm — the area between the elbow and the armpit — to create a firmer, more toned appearance. Loose, sagging upper arm skin is a common concern after significant weight loss or simply as a result of aging and genetics, and it is an area that diet and exercise alone cannot address.
Dr. Win Pound tailors each arm lift to the patient's degree of skin laxity and aesthetic goals. For patients with mild laxity, liposuction alone may be sufficient. For those with more significant sagging, a traditional brachioplasty with skin excision is performed, with the incision placed along the inner arm where it is least visible.
Recovery is typically 1–2 weeks before returning to light activity, with full activity resumed at 4–6 weeks. Results are long-lasting when maintained with a stable weight.

Are You a Candidate?
Ideal candidates are adults who are bothered by loose, sagging skin on the upper arms that has not responded to diet or exercise. Patients should be at or near their goal weight and in good general health. Significant future weight fluctuations can affect results. Dr. Pound will evaluate your anatomy and discuss whether a brachioplasty, liposuction, or a combination is the right approach.
